What is SEMG technology?

Surface electromyography is essentially a very sensitive version of the EKG technology used to measure heart function.  SEMG measures muscular tension.  When you have a problem with your spine, or “subluxation” the muscles cannot function properly and they respond to this nerve interference by tensing and bracing to compensate for the problem.

In general the health spine demonstrates more balanced muscle tension.  Vertebral subluxations reduce your body’s ability to maintain optimal health. When vertebral subluxations are present, the nervous system is less able to function properly resulting in less then optimal state of health.
